"Florence is a fresh, smart, young presenter who delivers to camera with a natural enthusiasm. She can present written pieces to camera or is just as comfortable working without a script. Her interviews are lively and she is great with people. Professional to work with, vibrant in front of the camera,  Florence has a natural delivery style which would engage any viewer."

My Story

I am passionate about food as one of life's great joys and as a powerful tool for social and environmental change.

I came to work in food from the environmental and sustainability movement. I discovered how big an impact food has on the health of our communities, our bodies and minds, and our planet. Through this most delicious and joyous of mediums we can make the world a better place!

With over a decade of experience in food, from hospitality, to education, to community projects to local and national policy, I have come to specialise in food systems, education and communication, and have a deep knowledge and understanding of the food industry and issues of sustainability around food.

I have lived in Bristol for 15 years. I love this city for the diversity and quality of food on offer and the passion of the people engaged in the food movement. I was the Public Engagement Coordinator in Bristol's successful bid for a gold Sustainable Food Places award. In my work as City Food Policy Officer for The Food Foundation I worked on local and international city food policy, and contributed to England's National Food Strategy.

I have also hosted stages and chaired panels at events such as Valley Fest, Shambala, Youth 4 Food festival, Abergavenny Food Festival and an international conference in Barcelona, as well as numerous workshops and online webinar series. I have worked as a presenter on camera and at live events and love nothing more than sharing my passion and enthusiasm to inspire others to engage with the good food movement!
